One can‘t say that she disregarded traffic – she simply didn’t take note of it. And thus, she rushed towards us, crossing the square like the eye of a typhoon, untouchable for all the cars, motorcycles, mopeds, and whatever else raced through this city at breakneck speed. Everything whirled around here, but always at a distance, as if she were a goddess that cannot be touched.

After she recognised us amidst the hustle and bustle, she picked up her pace and arrived at our table with a charming smile that took my breath away.

I just thought “How can this austere elegance be so warm-hearted that it leaves you with the wish to take her in your arms, hold on to her and never let her go?”
