If you have never been there it seems almost impossible to describe the feeling of “Perugia”, since this place can only be explained by experiencing it first-hand. But one could try, albeit as a rough attempt, as follows:

Imagine one of the altar pieces by Perugino, preferably “The Virgin appearing to St. Bernard”, lose yourself in contemplation and then savour a “Baci Perugina”:

Absolute clarity, tranquillity, and depth with a taste of dark chocolate and hazelnuts.
